* Please note that the total package cost is inclusive of accommodations, 3 meals and 2 tea breaks daily, the Closing Dinner & registration fees for the team event and sightseeing. See below for details.
Registration
Registration forms are available at Singapore Sports School and via email.(9:00 am to 6:00pm)
Registration forms together with CASH payments may be submitted to Singapore Sports School during the above stated hours.
Registration forms together with local CHEQUE payments (Payable to Singapore Sports School) may be submitted by post to Singapore Sports School, 1 Champions Way, Singapore 737913
Payment via wire transfers may be arranged. Please contact the Organizing Secretary for further information.
Registration by email and fax will be accepted.
Late, unclear and incomplete forms will NOT be entertained.Change of players is allowed before the commencement of the competition within a certain period of time. The period is subject to each individual sport. Please refer to the Rules & Regulations and /or the Competition Manager for each individual sport. You may also refer to the Organising Secretary for further information.
The closing date for registration is 5 October 2012
The Organising Committee reserves the right to accept entries based on the number of teams per country.
Eligibility of Players
The Under 15 Categories are open to players who are born after 1 January 1997.
Tournament System
Please refer to the entry forms for the specific sports tournament system and its rules and regulations.
Rules and Regulations
All the games will be played in accordance with the International Federation/Association’s current rules and regulations. In the event of any disputes, the Organizing Committee’s decision shall be final and binding.
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to interpret or amend the rules and regulations of the Championships at any time without prior notification.
Accommodation and Meals Package
Participants of the 5th International Youth Sports Challenge are required to sign up for the food and accommodation package which is included in the Total Package Cost.
The Participants’ Package includes both athletes & officials for the period 30 November 2012 to 9 December 2012, depending on each sport.The start and end date for each sport is according to the schedule of events (found on page 4 of this prospectus).
The package is inclusive of:
Dormitory-bed accommodation (with common toilets)
Airport transfers (2-way, per team basis)
Food (3 main meals per day)
-Breakfast -Lunch -Dinner -2 tea-breaks per day -Closing Dinner
Sightseeing (for Soccer & Netball Teams only)
Registration Fees for teams
*Please note that any earlier check in/ later check out shall be charge at $85/person/ night, subject to prevailing Goods and Service Tax.Any additional persons accompanying teams shall also pay this rate, subject to availability of accommodation.
Closing Dinner - A Cultura Fiesta
A Cultural Fiesta will be integrated into the Closing Ceremony to celebrate the interaction among youths from different participating countries. We would like to make this cultural event part of the International Youth Sports Challenge tradition which upholds the spirit of participation, sportsmanship, sports excellence and friendship. All participating teams are invited to present a cultural item.
We would also like to encourage each of the participating teams to attend this closing dinner in their national costumes. Should there be supporters of the participating teams who would like to join in the dinner, they are welcomed to join us for this closing dinner cum cultural fiesta at SGD$20/- nett per person.
